Nero “Innocence” Live Edit Finally Sees Official Release

In the UK and most of Europe, today is 28/08.

Nero’s “Innocence,” released on the album Welcome Reality in 2011, has stood the test of time and has remained one of the duo’s greatest hits of their career. However, in the past few years, fans have rarely been treated to the original mix of the track, instead getting a darker, more house-focused edit.

Though it seems like this dropped without much warning, 2808 is the year of the fictional Nero universe and setting of their debut album, so it’s actually pretty clever.

On this day, Nero dropped two “new” songs, the first of which that we’ll focus on is this “Reopened” edit of “Innocence,” placing a darker, more Between II Worlds vibe on the mix rather than their style of stadium dubstep from years past.

The second new release is called “Blade Runner 2049 (Demo)” – we already checked, Nero aren’t working on the forthcoming film of the same name. But based on this demo, they really should be.
