Daft Punk Tribute Band Is Recreating Iconic Pyramid Stage For Massive Show

daft punk daft punk

While most people in the US recognize duo One More Time as the be-all, end-all Daft Punk tribute group, over in Ireland they’ve got Daft as Punk.

This particular duo has been paying tribute to the French robots for the past seven years, and they’re attempting their biggest tribute show ever in grandest fashion later this year.

They will be building a full-size replica of the pyramid used in Daft Punk’s 2007 Alive tour.

As they say themselves, “this is costing us an arm and a f**kin’ leg but it is going to be a legendary gig for years to come.”

You’ll be able to see it for yourselves at The Button Factory in Dublin on October 20th, where they’ll play a late show (doors 12am/midnight). Tickets are €30 and on sale now.
