Selena Gomez’s last radio single “Fetish” with Gucci Mane has been slowly sliding down up the Billboard Hot 100 since it first came out on July 13th. This current tracking week has it at #48 following a sharp decline from a peak position of #27 just four tracking weeks ago. That being said, this surprise remix, on a Wednesday no less, via Galantis, which Selena only just revealed earlier today, could be just the right DJ weapon to propel it back up the charts.
Surprise! @wearegalantis remix of ‘Fetish’ comes out at midnight ET and YOU GUYS helped inspire the art.😝 Can’t wait for you to hear it. pic.twitter.com/wCIfvEvB9W

Galantis’s strong pop background lends itself perfectly to Selena’s charming vocals to create a darker version of the original highlighted by a bouncy future bass drop complete with vocal chops that seem to be all the rage these days in pop. The Swedish duo also flaunts their versatility to introduce some strong trap horns just in time for Gucci Mane.
