While the debate about race relations has certainly heated up in the dance music world since the terrifying riots in Charlottesville with DJs speaking out, techno legend Maceo Plex is looking to take action by throwing a free party in Charlottesville to “promote & dance for unity & equality” and to fight “neo nazis.”

While the initial tweet was made a day after the unrest in Charlottesville, he’s since followed it up with another tweet asking for local promoters to join him in his cause earlier today.
Any serious promoters in Virginia that would like to take part in a free event to promote Unity & fight neo-nazi rhetoric/violence?
