Brooklyn native Element is back with a stellar original release just after his “Uprising” EP. His most recent original, “Home to Me” is a slow jam that carries a lot of emotional power within the songwriting and sound design.
Starting the track off with a lot of textural atmosphere, the vocal comes in along with drums to move the track forward. As the track progresses, a pop-dance hall vibe emerges, presenting the listener with the eventual drop motif. Once the drop comes in, the combination of tasteful vocal chops over top of dance hall drums and the prior chords works together in a way that does the overall vibe and feel of the track justice.
