It’s too often that on social media we only see the highlights. After all, is that what it’s for? Similarly, to many people, it seems that producer/DJs often suddenly hit it big and just end up on lineups, but they don’t see the years of blood, sweat and tears that went into the pursuit of perfection.
Shaun Frank is an example of this, as he described in a Facebook post recently. Three years ago, he had $500 to his name and two failed music projects. But after an offer to sing on a dance record, and a subsequent offer to fly out to Spain to sing it live at an awards show, he became enamored with the dance music community and was inspired to start producing his own records.
And now, Shaun Frank is a rapidly rising producer who has collaborated with some of the best in the game, as well as having multiple writing credits on hit, charting songs.
