The 20th anniversary of Shambhala Music Festival kicked off yesterday and goes into full effect today, welcoming music festival attendees back home on the farm — as wildfires burn in surrounding areas.
“While this does not currently affect the festival, all guests should be prepared for changing conditions,” Shambhala advised in an official statement.
For those at Shambhala… At this stage, it’s important to stay informed, talk with friends about early departure strategies, and make sure to have a well-rested, designated driver at all times. Stay tuned on social media channels and the official Shambhala Music Festival app for the latest up-to-date info.
Currently en route to Shambhala myself, I’m definitely hoping the fires are maintained and everyone stays safe. Right now, the best thing to do is #KeepCalmShambhaOn!
