Over the years, India has slowly established itself as an emerging hub for dance music fans with both big name artists (KSHMR) and festivals (Goa Music Festival) repping. Now even Bollywood, the country’s behemoth film industry, is also branching out into the EDM universe by teaming up with Diplo for new single “PHURRR” that will serve as the trapped out anthem for upcoming film Jab Harry Met Sejal.
The record features Bollywood composer Pritan and notable Indian singer Mohit Chauhan so “PHURRR” is about as authentic as it gets. The result is a big brash trap anthem that perfectly befits the new music video with Diplo and Mohit Chauhan decked out in some ridiculous outfits surrounded by some even more ridiculous cars.
