There were over 1000 artists playing at Tomorrowland this year, a unique staggering number that is hard to comprehend. Can you even name 1000 artists off the top of your head? You’d probably have to go through your music library after about 50, maybe 100 if you’re really on your game.
However, not all the artists were streamed live, and it’s from this group of artists that we’ve chosen our top 5 sets from the two-weekend festival. From Steve Aoki to Lost Frequencies to Cosmic Gate to Da Tweekaz, there was no shortage of diversity in music at Tomorrowland.
That being said, we’ve chosen these 5 artists as our favorites that have been officially uploaded.
KSHMR
Despite lacking his usual visuals, KSHMR made up for it with a high energy set full of creative mashups, unreleased IDs, and even a surprise guest appearance.
Steve Angello
With an album on the way later this year, Steve dropped a bunch of IDs and kept his set going with an intensity only a veteran DJ could muster.
Don Diablo
Don Diablo also has an album later this year, and he too dropped many unreleased tracks in his set.
Axwell
It’s not every day that we get an Axwell set, and this might be one of his best of all time. Seamless mixing, incredibly dense live edits and a crowd that was incredibly into it made for one special showing.
Carl Cox
He opened the festival’s main stage with a 3-hour set… what more do you need to know?
