KSHMR is back and bigger than ever with brand new single “Kolkata.” The record is the second release ever on his new Spinnin’ imprint Dharma and is also the second record on KSHMR’s forthcoming second EP, Materia. Oh, did I mention the track also has two collaborators in JDG and Mariano BO? Wow.
Okay, spooky yet meaningless coincidences aside, KSHMR’s fans will undoubtedly be delighted with what he’s done here. And as always, there’s plenty of KSHMR’s Indian roots present in “Kolkata” other than just the name. Oriental sounding synths in KSHMR’s unique instrumentation mesh with the song’s bold percussion to create the kind of perfect festival main stage drop that KSHMR has become so known for.
