Producer friends, this could be your big break! deadmau5 is launching a New Artist Competition and he isn’t playing around — the top prize offers a chance to be on his upcoming mau5trap compilation album We Are Friends among many other prizes.
This once in a lifetime opportunity is open exclusively to students enrolled in his Electronic Music Production MasterClass, but with the submission deadline 2 months out there’s still time to enroll, develop your skills, and put his lessons to good use.

deadmau5 New Artist Competition: How to Enter
Step 1: Produce your track
Your track should be under ten minutes long. It should resonate with mau5trap’s focus on progressive house, techno, and electro house. It must be an original production. Tracks containing samples or any component from any pre-existing work will not be considered.
Step 2: Upload it
Upload your track in MP3 format. Submissions open August 29 at 9:00am PST.
