Justin Bieber has long been religious to at least some degree, sporting various references to Christianity on his body in the form of tattoos. However, it’s now being reported by TMZ that the reason Bieber cancelled the remaining dates is because he has “rededicated his life to Christ.”
The reports allegedly come from a source at Hillsong Church, which has locations across the world. A direct statement from Bieber’s team didn’t list a reason for the tour cancellation, though other reports suggest exhaustion. TMZ doesn’t believe that this could be the case, as his “remaining touring schedule was not taxing travel-wise.”
Furthermore, TMZ reports that Bieber’s team is angry with the musician because of his own selfish reasons for cancelling, leaving many of them suddenly jobless.
Bieber has apparently been “joined at the hip” with Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz recently.
The rest of Bieber’s tour was scheduled with support from Martin Garrix, Vic Mensa, Migos, and Kehlani.
