Tomorrowland is so irresistible that even the King and Queen of Belgium made an appearance at weekend 1 this year!
Friday, July 21 marked Belgian National Day — and King Filip and Queen Mathilde must have figured there was no better way to celebrate the holiday than to hit up the music festival. They might not look like your typical rave couple, but they clearly know what’s up. In the videos below, the royal couple is captured mingling with fans in the crowd during Marshmello‘s set at the main stage.
At one point during his set Mello shouted out, “Make some noise for the king of Belgium!”
“We are honored that the prince choose our festival to visit!” Tomorrowland rep Debbie Wilmsen stated. “Prince Laurent had been here a few years ago, he is a big Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike fan.”
If this isn’t proof that Tomorrowland is one of the most amazing music festivals in the world, we don’t know what is… It’s truly an event fit for royalty!
