It seems like the only thing I do these days is premiere new tunes from Circus Records, but who in the world would actually complain about that? This newest one if from AXEN featuring Messinian, called “True Power.”
Probably my favorite thing about Messinian is that you never have to guess whose vocals they are. When he’s on a track, you know, “That’s Messinian.” Any track he lends his vocals too immediately gets that extra dose of roughness, and the same is true of “True Power.”
However, AXEN is due his own credit, as well. From the very beginning of the track, AXEN establishes the atmosphere and tone of his track – slow, creeping, powerful.
AXEN signed with Circus Records back in May, and he’s already leaving his mark. Check out “True Power” below.
