UPDATE: Certain details of this story have been unintentionally conflated with a similar shooting at Club Vinyl in March 2017. There was a shooting this past Sunday after Green Velvet’s set at the club. Police are still looking for the perpetrator.
A shooting occurred last night at an official Global Dance Festival afterparty in which one man was injured.
Police responded to a report of gunshots outside Club Vinyl in Denver at approximately 1:30am and found a man who had been shot in the leg. 
The man was taken to a hospital with wounds that were not life-threatening.
An investigation is underway, and police have no suspects in custody.
An eye witness described the setting as “surreal.”
“Everyone hit the deck and started running,” he said. “The security guards were shielding people and getting them back in the club.”
It’s not clear whether the shooter was attending the event or not.
