Chester Bennington, of Linkin Park, was found dead this past Thursday, after hanging himself at his home. The world has mourned his passing, but probably none so much as his fellow bandmates, with whom he’s been performing for nearly 20 years (Chester joined the group in 1999).
After his passing, founding member of the group Mike Shinoda uploaded a new logo to his Twitter profile, featuring one open end, representing one of the six edges being gone from the band.
It is not clear if this will become a permanent logo.
Yesterday a spokesperson confirmed that the band has canceled their North American tour. Refunds will be available at the point of purchase.
Oh my God. That brought a tear to my eye.
it is sad that he died by committing suicide… 🙁
Mike, this is for you <3
I know you are going through a hard time, we all are. I hope you stay strong and don't give in to the pain. Chester wants us to stay strong, if i can then you can to<3
STAY STRONG and if you get a new lead singer everyone eho says that he (or she) is a replacement of Chester.
THEY ARE WRONG! Noyone can ever be a replacement of him, NOYONE!
I love you guys<3
