TMZ reported moments ago that Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington was found dead at his home in Los Angeles. He reportedly hanged himself.

His body was found Thursday morning.

Bennington was part of the nu-metal group Linkin Park and created a set of iconic songs including “Numb,” “Somewhere I Belong” and “Crawling.” His voice was remarkably unique and his impact on music as a whole reaches far and wide.

The group recently released a new album and are currently on tour, and had a forthcoming collaboration with Martin Garrix.
