Astre Drops Refreshing New EP “For so Long” Via Moving Castle

Astre might not be a big name just yet but the body of work he’s just released plus his other project, which you’ve probably heard of, makes him an act to watch for fans of forward thinking electronic music. His debut EP For so Long is an intimate look at the softer side of electronic music – a harsh contrast to the banging trap he’s so known for as one of the members of French supergroup Slow Hours.

I’ve already covered lead single “Shades,” but it’s actually first track “Romance” with vocalist Amela which might just be the best on the record. Titular track “For so Long” boasts some incredibly unique instrumentation while EP records “About Love” and “Stay in Your Bed” evoke plenty of emotion thanks to the producer’s intricate soudn design and attention to detail.
