Your EDM Month In Music – June 2017

New month, new Spotify playlist. There was a whole ton of highly anticipated releases on the final day of the month but the 29 days before that were equally filled with quality releases. Let’s take a look at some of the hits that dropped this month.

Firstly, Calvin Harris finally released his hotly anticipated fifth studio album Funk Wav Bounces Vol 1 which turned out to be one of the grooviest releases of the year to date. Stacked with heavy features, we chose to feature four of the album’s new cuts – “Cash Out,” “Skrts On Me,” “Holiday” and “Hard To Love.”

Bassnectar also put out the first half of his EP Reflective (Part 1) from which we chose two records, while DJ Khaled also released his new album Grateful. Believe it or not, David Guetta & Justin Bieber actually released the biggest hit of them all this month. “2U” came out on June 9th and has already amassed close to 98 million streams on Spotify. And, we can’t forget Daft Punk‘s newest production on “Overnight” with the Aussie group Parcels.

Plenty of our favorite names also dropped huge singles. San Holo, Prince Fox, AREA21, Blonde, Lido, Whethan, Mura Masa, Kasbo, and much more.
