Always be careful when you meet up for sales on Craigslist.
One man is learning that the hard way after being held up at gunpoint when selling his Electric Forest wristband this year in Michigan. Police at the scene said they interviewed a man who said he agreed to meet another man who he met on Craigslist.com to sell the victim’s Electric Forest tickets.
This incident occurred yesterday, Thursday, June 29.
The suspect produced a gun and demanded the victim’s tickets, car keys and a small amount of cash before fleeing the scene on foot, police said. Officers used a canine unit to attempt to locate the man, but it was unsuccessful.
The suspect is described as a possible Hispanic male, 5-foot-9 and 180 pounds.
