Calvin Harris has pleasantly surprised us by dropping his Nicki Minaj collaboration earlier than expected, just a day before his Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 album is scheduled to release!

“Skrt On Me” is a breezy summer song that packs in the heat, building on the tropical vibes and hot, superstar collaborations that Funk Wav Bounces is all about!

Nicki lays it down: “If you ride, baby, ride up / Pull up from behind, baby, wine up / You and me, we can shine up / So baby, come make your mind up” — listen and enjoy!

Calvin also recently teamed up with Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Big Sean for “Feels,” another song off his new record. It was originally rumored to be a diss track about ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, but it’s proven to simply be another hit summer anthem, complimenting the good vibes on display in “Skrt On Me.”

Although the producer isn’t exactly best friends Swift, he recently cleared the air about their Twitter beef in a revealing interview with British GQ: “I was protecting what I see as my one talent in the world being belittled. It felt like things were piling on top of me and that was when I snapped.”

“It’s very difficult when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly. The aftermath of the relationship was way more heavily publicized than the relationship itself.”

“Now I see that Twitter thing as a result of me succumbing to pressure. It took me a minute to realise that none of that matters. I’m a positive guy.”

Well, his positivity is certainly coming through in his new music… We can’t wait to vibe to the entire Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 tonight at midnight!
