Up until today, filters had to be submitted and approved through a process on Snapchat’s desktop website. Now, it’s easier than ever to capture your moments creatively straight from the app, as users in the U.S. can now submit custom designs with “On-Demand Geofilters.”
The creative studio doesn’t require mad Photoshop skills — just an idea and the Snapchat app! Here’s how to get started…
CREATING A GEOFILTER IN SNAPCHAT
Step 1: Go to Snapchat Settings
Step 2: Select On-Demand Geofilters on top right
Step 3: Choose your occasion (Birthday, Bachelorette, 4th Of July, etc.)
Step 4: Select a template
Step 5: Customize with text, emojis, stickers, and more!
Step 7: Choose when and where you want it to go live
Step 8: Submit and wait for approval
Step 9: Pay for your Snapchat filter
Step 10: Use it up at your event and enjoy!
