The Chainsmokers have put forth their most emotional and personal effort yet with the new single “Young” — and it’s already getting some remix attention from Nicky Romero!
Not to diss The Chainsmokers (we’ve done that enough), but “Young” isn’t exactly the liveliest track from their debut album Memories… Do Not Open. But, not every song can be a banger… Or can it?
While a steady, intentional beat, and vulnerable lyrics carry the reminiscent original, Romero transforms “Young” into a danceable version that’s every bit as touching while feeding off the most unique elements already put in place. 
At just 1:38, this teaser simply isn’t enough to get the full effect of the “Young” (Nicky Romero Remix), but you can get a sense of where he’s going with it!
