Insomniac introduced a new event to Southern California last year that aimed to bring together the hardest and best in bass styles across the spectrum. Called Project Z, the event combined Insomniac’s brands of bass music, Bassrush and Basscon, in one epic day.
This year the event returns with an added stage, and some serious firepower behind it. Borgore, Joyryde and Eptic head up the Bassrush stage with longtime friends The Prototypes, Black Sun Empire, Gentlemens Club and more. On the Basscon side, you’ve got Darren Styles, DJ Isaac with a classics set, and Skellism off the release of their hit collab with Lil Jon and Terror Bass.
Finally, the newest stage is Area Z, which features some of the wonkiest bass music in the game. Here you’ll see: Moody Good, Tsuruda, Ganja White Night, Eprom, Conrank, Buku, Holly, Ivy Lab and Dimond Saints. Talk about a lineup…
