Ilan Bluestone just dropped his newest single, “Scars” featuring Giuseppe De Luca, which will be the title track to his upcoming EP set to drop this fall on Anjunabeats. In addition, ilan has also announced a massive North American and European tour for this summer and fall. The track is an absolute banger with major future bass vibes although it’s being described as a trance/dubstep hybrid. Ilan’s forthcoming EP is based on two ideas, memories in music and everlasting impressions. Here’s what ilan had to say about writing “Scars” with Giuseppe De Luca.
“Giuseppe and I started with a blank canvas for this one. I laid down some chords in the studio and Giuseppe spent some time writing lyrics with me in California. The style change happened fairly organically, there’s a lot of power in the words he wrote and I wanted the drama of the music to reflect that. I’ve always tried to make music that leaves an impression on my fans and that was the inspiration for the record and ultimately the album.”
