DJ Khaled was scheduled to perform last night at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, but apparently due to some technical difficulties, he was unable to begin his set on time.
Insomniac, who has not typically booked hip hop acts for their festivals, booked DJ Khaled in addition to acts like Metro Boomin’ for the festival’s 21st go-around, and some people weren’t all that happy about it. According to reports and videos from the festival, DJ Khaled was booed off stage after trying to get his set back on track.

Khaled claims that his set was in fact sabotaged, saying in an Instagram post “They Tried to sabotage my sound so many times THEY couldnot get the sound right on my set and i still stood on stage wit no sound and when they got the sound to work they want cut my set short but I still rep for my people anyone else would walk off stage” (sic).

Khaled won’t likely be getting booked for another Insomniac event any time soon.
