In an impromptu Twitter Q&A, Noisia revealed they have a lot of unreleased music with Skrillex!
It’s bittersweet news for both fans of the drum and bass trio and the dubstep legend because while they’re sitting on an album’s worth of collaborative demos, there’s no guarantee we’ll ever get to hear the finished products. However we can bet that they’ll continue working closely together, and can hope for an official release.
Their relationship goes back before the release of My Name Is Skrillex, an EP that changed the game forever. Over the years, Skrillex has looked up to Noisia as masters of “pure art” and mentors for his own craft… Quoting from a 2016 NEST HQ interview Skrillex said, “Nick from Noisia was one of the first guys who made me feel like the stuff I was making wasn’t just demo quality. He was like, ‘No, that’s good! That’s you. It doesn’t need anything else.’”
Check out the recent Twitter exchange below, as Noisia talks the unfinished collaborations and defends Skrillex’s more mainstream work with artists like Justin Bieber.
Kinda bored at home after a really nice weekend, on a laptop with Twitter. Will answer any interesting question for a limited amount of time

Man that stuff sonny is doing now is sooooo much better than that early stuff. Might not be your taste but it's very catchy
