Since dropping “Spaceships” over a year ago, AREA21 has remained very quiet since then only putting out “Girls” a short while after on Martin Garrix’s label STMPD Records. Since then, we’ve confirmed that Martin Garrix is the production brains behind the project while Maejor, a major producer in his own right, is the vocalist.
In any case, it’s been over a year since we’ve heard new AREA21 but it looks like the wait is finally over as prominent Canadian video game journalist Geoff Keighley has just revealed that the duo will debut a new single “We Did It” tomorrow at E3 as the theme song for YouTube Live at E3 the popular video gaming trade show. The tweet has since been retweeted by AREA21 which should confirm it’s authenticity.
Tomorrow, get ready for @area21 to drop a first listen of #WeDidIt our theme for @youtube Live at E3
