Like every music company nowadays, Pandora has placed a lot of emphasis on technology and big data to streamline their approach to keeping listeners on their platform as a streaming giant. Their purchase of music analytics service Next Big Sound in 2015 solidifed their data-driven approach to their craft.
With the help of Next Big Sound, Pandora whipped a fun little prediction for the top songs of the summer, the third year in a row they’ve done so.
