People in Live Oak, FL this weekend had the chance to attend The Purple Hatter’s Ball, a local music festival featuring performances from Emancipator, The Russ Liquid Test, Zoogma, and more. Unfortunately, the body of a man was found in a lake nearby.
The Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office believes the body could be linked to a missing person’s case. According to local news station WTXL, “a woman called saying that an individual she knew did not return from the festival over the weekend” prior to the body being found.
The body was discovered by cleanup crews working on the site of Purple Hatter’s Ball. The deceased man has been identified as Scott Hausheer.
There were no visible signs of trauma to Scott’s body, and foul play is not suspected at this time.
We will update this story with more as information becomes available.
