WATCH: First 30 Minutes of Testpilot at Movement Detroit 2017

Testpilot‘s Detroit mission was an overall success at Movement Music Festival 2017, despite electrical malfunctions due to rainfall.

Few artists can deal with a situation like this, keep their cool, power through it, and still come out with one of the best sets of the entire weekend — and Joel Zimmerman aka Deadmau5 aka Testpilot is one of them.

For those who didn’t witness this monumental moment in electronic music, the first 30 minutes was captured and uploaded to YouTube for your viewing pleasure. During his all-techno set, Zimmerman dropped CTRLS, Raxon, ARTBAT, and more, seamlessly mixing in acapellas of his own work and never-before-heard Testpilot IDs. Most notably, he played out a fittingly more complex version of “Sometimes Things Get, Whatever,” which served as a theme song of the night.

Deadmau5 also aired the set during his BBC 1 Radio residency show… Watch some of the “Techmau5” magic from Movement’s Main Stage below, and listen to the full set below!
