Today, the team at YourEDM premiere the latest remix from Berlin-based and super-talented producer, Perttu. The highly creative musician teams up with the unique and innovative Finnish singer-songwriter, Lxandra on this remix of her original, ‘Flicker’.
Perttu the co-writer and producer of the original single has the opportunity to inject some extra flavour and summer-inspired melody to his already diverse production . In asking Perttu about the creative process behind making both the original and the remix for this release he comments:
‘ Since I knew, what Lxandra has in mind for flickers ‘Flicker’ and worked on it from scratch – this actually made process of remixing quite a challenging process because you get to level of appreciation when a track is ‘finished’. However, it was also extremely fun to have the opportunity to put a completely different spin on the remix. It gave me a unique opportunity to really showcase a different range of production skills, sounds and styles which were dissimilar to the original.’
