Apparently DJ Snake’s absence from Hangout caused a sort of ripple effect… (Get it? Cuz it’s on the beach?)
This year, around 170 people were arrested at or around the festival; this is a huge increase from last year’s arrest number of just 61, which is still fairly high.
According to local news WKRG, “a man walked into the Surf Style store on the festival grounds and took three thousand dollars worth of Oakley sunglasses.” Most of the glasses have been recovered and the man was arrested.
The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office arrested around 100. The majority of those for drugs. Gulf Shores police locked up 71. No further information was given.
Hangout Fest took place in Gulf Shores, AL, and while none of the festivities took place in neighboring Orange Beach, the area’s police department also released their arrest numbers, reports AL.
