Kygo and Ellie Goulding have released a fiery music video for their hot, summer single “First Time”!
As with any music video — and song for that matter — it can be interpreted in a number of ways. While we thought that “First Time” made for the perfect boy-meets-girl scenario, the producer/singer duo took it in an extremely different direction.
As some YouTubers have speculated, Ellie and Kygo portray extraordinarily close siblings that miss out on growing up together when the sister passes. The brother experiences some otherworldly talents as the years go by, and ultimately dies in hopes of joining his sister in the afterlife. But, again, their paths just barely cross.
