Skrillex has certainly been keeping busy outside of conventional dance music having been spotted in the studio yet again with some big acts outside of dance music. This time around, legendary hip hop production duo Cool & Dre joined Skrillex for a session.

Cool & Dre have been producing hip-hop classics like “Hate It Or Love It” and “Rodeo” by The Game and Juvenile respectively for over a decade. Their production discography more or less reads like a laundry list of biggest names in hip-hop of the mid to late 2000s with Nas, Wale, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, DJ Khaled, Ja Rule and more included. 
While we’re prone to believe that projects like these might never be heard, considering Skrillex’s history of selective releases, working with background producers like these makes us think there might indeed be something bigger going on. Exactly what? We don’t know… yet.
