Electronic music group Seeb is back with another mainstream remix!
The Norwegian trio, consisting of Simen Eriksrud, Espen Berg, and Nick Strand, blew up in 2015 after remixing Mike Posner‘s “I Took A Pill in Ibiza” into something even better than the original. Now, they’re tackling another monster hit — “Castle on the Hill.”
Ed Sheeran’s album ÷ (Divide), and literally all of its tracks have charted worldwide. Meanwhile, Seeb reached huge success with their “ITAPII” (Remix), which topped the charts in Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, and the United Kingdom, plus hit the top 10 in Denmark, Finland, New Zealand, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States. The Ed Sheeran x Seeb collaboration only makes sense.
Listen as Seeb transforms the indie pop song into into an emotional and reflective, synthy piece that will hit you straight in the feels. We’re not saying it’s better than the original, but it does give Ed Sheeran’s work a little more “umph” behind it!
