Kygo’s Debut Album ‘Cloud Nine’ Just Turned A Year Old

It’s official. Kygo’s debut album Cloud Nine has only just turned a year old, but the talented producer is already back in the studio putting up new singles for his sophomore follow-up. While that’s fairly exciting and all we should take this time to look back at Cloud Nine which spawned some of Kygo’s best-loved singles like “Firestone” “Stole the Show,” and “Stay.”

Featuring collaborators across the board like John Legend, Foxes, James Vincent McMorrow and more, Cloud Nine took the album streaming charts by storm peaking at #11 on the Billboard Hot 200 and topping the Billboard charts for Dance/Electronic albums. It achieved similar success in Europe as well with a peak position of #3 on the U.K. album charts plus a silver certification of upwards of 60,000 sales. The success of the album’s singles on streaming platforms, particularly Spotify, also contributed to Kygo’s incredible achievement of becoming the fastest artist to hit 1 billion streams on the platform.

Stream Cloud Nine again below and keep your ears out for the next Kygo singles!
