Matroda is without a doubt one of my favorite emerging house music artists. Keeping the insane release schedule going, this time Matroda is tackling none other than Joyryde’s smash single “I Ware House”.
Taking the original a little deeper, Matroda flips Joyryde’s original break in a much darker direction. Following a minimalistic, yet energetic build, the remix takes a flip with Matroda’s signature bass movement – a pulsating eighth note rhythm with slight changes in pitch. For the second half of the drop, Matroda takes elements from the original version, again flipping it in his signature style.
The second and third drop stay true with similar motifs, but two different bass sounds. This track is filled to the brim with energy, while still serving the original well. Sure to be heard in several sets in the future, this track is definitely a must listen.
