Backstreet’s back, alright! Steve Aoki brought out the Backstreet Boys‘ own Nick Carter at Omnia Nightclub in Las Vegas last night, and the 1990s boy band fangirl in all of us is flipping out!
“Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” has been played out not only by Aoki, but used as a signature song in many DJ sets, with a variety of remixes out there. But, to watch it come alive on stage is something else — leave it to Aoki to literally bring Backstreet back!
Fans and the Backstreet Boys frontman shared the moment on Twitter. The legendary DJ added, “That was the highlight of my set nick!!! U smashed it!!!”
Aoki has been teaming up with tons of artists lately, from pop star Louis Tomlinson, to rappers Lil Uzi Vert, Migos, and T-Pain, his latest release with 2 Chainz, and even Vin Diesel. It wouldn’t be surprising if him and the Backstreet Boys had something in the works. Either way, it makes us feel a little weird seeing the present day clash with our childhood.
