Boys Noize has completely transformed Justice‘s electro-disco inspired “Randy” into a darker, beat-driven track that’s equally as powerful as the original.
Everything Boys Noize touches turns to techno gold, and this is no exception. The German producer takes all of the best elements from “Randy” — the gritty guitar, church-like keys, and electro riffs — adding in repetitive, choppy vocals and industrial progressions to make the track his own. Where Justice builds on uplifting, happy tones, Boyz Noize takes it in the opposite direction for something more ominous.
The “Randy” (Boys Noize Remix) is released as part of the forthcoming Ed Banger Records compilation album, due out May 12th (full tracklist below), and it definitely sets the bar high!
