Remember the name Kid Froopy because in a year from now you’ll be able to tell all of your friends ‘I told you so’ when he inevitably blows up. The talented singer-songwriter and producer has seemingly become the flagship artist for DeadBeats, besides Zed’s Dead, having been a part of basically every major project they’ve put up to date.
“Dreams” treads beautifully around the outer edges of electronic, indie and pop arriving at a place so unique musically you can’t help but wonder what can’t the artist create. The single itself is a stirring record highlighted by its funky and dreamy ambiance that’s sure to have listeners both laughing and crying one way or the other. I’m really not sure where to place this one, but pressing that play button once should have it touching your heart as much as it did mine.
