The Chainsmokers have had an incredible run to date, but even then it’s a tad bit surprising to see that they’ve completely dominated the 2017 Billboard Music Awards by nabbing 22 nominations – tying Drake as the artist with the most.

With nominations from across the board: ‘Top Artist,’ ‘Top Duo/Group,’ ‘Billboard Chart Achievement,’ ‘Top Hot 100 Artist,’ Top Hot 100 Song (x2),’ ‘Top Song Sales Artist,’ ‘Top Radio Sales Artist,’ ‘Top Selling Song,’ ‘Top Radio Song (x2),’ ‘Top Collaboration (x2),’ ‘Top Streaming Artist,’ ‘Top Streaming Song (Audio),’ ‘Top Streaming Song (Video),’ ‘Top Dance/Electronic Song (x2),’ ‘Top Dance/Electronic Artist,’ and finally ‘Top Dance/Electronic Album (2x)’ it looks like the duo may need to bring in a dedicated team to help haul all that hardware home with.

Daft Punk might also come away with some wins thanks to their successful collaborations with The Weeknd, “I Feel It Coming” and “Starboy.” All in all, the duo were the only dance artist to nab nominations outside of the typical dance genre with five nominations including ‘Top Collaboration’ and “Top Streaming Song (Audio)’ for “Starboy.” Back in The Weeknd’s home category of R&B, they were nominated thrice more. Twice for ‘Top R&B Collaboration’ with “I Feel It Coming” and “Starboy” and once more for ‘Top R&B Song’ where “Starboy” trumped “I Feel It Coming” once again to grab a nomination.
