Steve Aoki and DVBBS have been teasing us with this 2 Chainz collaboration for a while, and it was well worth the wait!
“Without U” blends hip hop and electronic in the best way possible. The seemingly chill, trapped out beat builds up into an insane, bounceable drop while 2 Chainz lays it down. And, Aoki already proved it’s a true festival banger, as he flew in the rapper for a live debut during Ultra Music Festival Miami 2017.
The only thing it’s missing is a signature, “2 Chainzzzzzzz!”
“Without U” marks the first release from Aoki’s upcoming project Kolony and sets the bar high for his new music. Meanwhile, 2 Chainz is gearing up for his own album, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music.
