Yesterday marked the final day of Coachella 2017, with massive performances from Kendrick Lamar, Lorde, Hans Zimmer, Marshmello, Tove Lo, Justice and not to mention the final Porter Robinson & Madeon “Shelter” show. But over on the Gobi stage, up against Galantis, Sasha, Lorde, Hans Zimmer and Tove Lo/Kehlani was Jai Wolf.
Though he received a rather unfortunate set time, he still packed out the Gobi tent and put on an admirable performance, playing out many of his best tracks. Toward the end of the set, he also debuted a new remix of The Chainsmokers & Coldplay’s “Something Just Like This,” which completely reimagines the track.
Rather than listening to Roses 2.0, like the original seemed to be, the remix was light and energetic, and so much fun. The entire crowd was moving and vibing to the remix. No release date yet on this track, but it’s surely coming soon!
