ZHU puts a chilling spin on a new Gorillaz track, “Andromeda,” for the band’s upcoming Humanz LP expected April 28th.
Layers of edited vocals, eerie plucks, and a driven bassline lead the track straight to the dark side. ZHU’s recent work, particularly “Nightcrawler,” taps in on similar creepy, hypnotizing vibes that can easily send one into a trance.
As ZHU’s recent work leans darker, he’s also announced his BLACKLIZT parties — a series of warehouse events featuring dark techno and acid house. His first BLACKLIZT party goes down June 24 in NYC (info here), and it’s sure to be as thrilling as this remix…
