VOILÀ have been making a name for themselves as of late opening for the likes of Martin Garrix and Kaskade. The individual members of the duo have unique skills that, when combined, create some powerful music. They have recently begun putting those skills to work with remixing some big tunes. There newest release is a remix of “On My Mind” which demonstrates their affinity for creating hits.
The track begins with the original vocals, accompanied by sub bass. The intro of the track lets you know rather quickly that it’s going to be a banger with synth risers and the drop melody ringing in the background. Carmack styled pings fill the drop as heavy hitting subs and sprinted hi-hats fill the top. MOXIE RAIA’s voice breaks through the in your face bass with flawlessly sung vocals ripped from the original track and perfectly inserted in to the remix. Pusha T’s verse is included in the remix as well, which is spit over bass heavy synth stabs and the big subs prevalent throughout.
