Up for purchase right now on SUNANDBASS Recordings, who are responsible for stunning releases each year, is ‘Serious’ – the new EP from producer and DJ FD. Having released his distinctive sounds across various D&B labels, this is the first collection he has made for SUNANDBASS.
Its title track is the ideal introduction to this EP, dynamic and snappily produced but still retaining a fluidity. Calibre has remixed FD’s ‘Ambra’ next, and as you may imagine, has done a supreme job on this edit. FD closes the EP with another slice of original material, offering up ‘The Edges’ – which is a murkier roller, displaying a different side of this artist’s production.
