A Mysterious 17-Year-Old Just Dropped His First Release On The Chainsmokers’ Label

The remixes for Vanic’s “Too Soon” came out a couple weeks ago, but we still feel the need to highlight one producer in particular… heroless.

For all that we’ve been able to investigate, we haven’t been able to come up with much information about this producer. Based on his (or her?) Facebook cover photo, we can assume they’re around 17-18 years old. As far as we can tell this is also their first release, which is through Disruptor Records, the label home to (and founded by) The Chainsmokers as well as Vanic, Lost Kings and others. It serves to make heroless’ debut release that much more impressive.

But that’s just the paper stuff that looks good – at the end of the day, it’s about the music. Well, there’s no lack of quality there either. This remix is fire in every sense of the word, emblazoning a trail for the future of his career with a rough edge and blistering production. The Trap Nation upload is nearing one million plays, and the Spotify upload has more plays than all the other remixes combined… it’s still not up on Soundcloud, which just adds to the intrigue behind this new artist.

All this being said, heroless has us on the edge of our seats going forward in 2017.
