“c’est la vie” features rapper innanet james who takes us on a lyrical story of his life, hence the title of the song, atop of swindail’s slick percussion and tight thumping bass line. swindail’s music always sounds perfect whether it’s a commercial release or something that’s coming out of left field. “c’est la vie” definitely falls into the latter, but regardless this song’s got the perfect lazy Sunday vibe to kick your day off with.
