Kygo Debuts Two Unreleased Songs At Ultra Miami [VIDEO]

Friday evening in Miami saw a slew of incredible pre-headlining sets from a wide range of EDM’s most acclaimed DJs, including KSHMR and Alesso to name only a couple. Before Martin Garrix’s highly anticipated 9:55 slot, however, a previously unannounced special guest was given a short 20-minute window to perform on Ultra main stage.

As the lights dimmed and the crowd went silent, none other than Kygo appeared in all his glory atop the decks. After playing an inclusive mix of his own originals and favorite tracks from friends and collaborators, Kygo unveiled two brand, spanking new originals for the very first time.

The first, “Never Let You Go,” begins with a soaring male vocalist and gentle guitar plucks before blossoming into a full-fledged, uplifting singalong. Featuring a feel-good harmonica, rippling synths and shimmering percussion, the track is likely to release as another hit single on Kygo’s long roster of successful work.

The second track, “Kids In Love,” starts with celebratory piano phrases and wailing vocals, until the track reaches its peak of energy. Joyous piano chords and sparkling blips scatter across the space, allowing the rumbling bass and swaying percussion to take hold of the crowd. Check out a clip of the complete track below.
